Setting Up Your 5G Router
Here's how to get connected once it arrives:
Video guide:
1.Unbox the Device:
Take the router out of the box. You should have the router, power adapter, and any included cables. The SIM card is already pre-inserted.
2.Find a Good Spot:
Place the router in an open area, like on a table or shelf, away from walls or metal objects for the best signal.
3.Plug in the Power Adapter:
Connect the power adapter to the router’s power port, then plug it into a wall socket.
4.Turn It On:
Press the on/off button on the back and wait a moment. Look for lights to blink and turn solid, indicating it’s working.
5.Locate the Wi-Fi Details:
Flip the router over. On the bottom, find the “Wireless Password/PIN.” This is your Wi-Fi key.
6.Connect to Wi-Fi:
On your device, go to Wi-Fi settings. Look for the network name (SSID). The SSID starts with Imagine. Select it, then type in the “Wireless Password/PIN” exactly as shown.
7.Wait for Connection:
Give it a few seconds to connect. You should see a Wi-Fi signal or a “connected” message on your device.
8.Test Your Connection:
Open a web browser or app to confirm your internet is working. If it doesn’t work, double-check the password or restart the router by unplugging it for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in or try a new spot. If you’ve followed these steps and still experience no internet or slow speeds, try moving your router to a different location.
